Dr. Momaya, Kiran (Ph.D., Toronto)

Dr. K. Momaya is an Associate Professor of Strategy and Competitiveness at DMS, IITD and a unique professional with passion for green innovation. He has more than 18 years of experience in academia and industry in India and Japan. Currently, he is Visiting Associate Professor at the Institute of Innovation Research, Hitotsubashi University, Japan. He has focused on competitiveness research since his Ph.D. days at the University of Toronto in early 1990s. He has done research / consulting projects for corporations, governments in India and Japan. He and team of researchers are working on exciting areas of competitiveness, strategy, innovation/technology management. He is Editor of the International Journal of Global Business and Competitiveness (IJGBC) of Global Institute of Flexible Systems Management and has written / edited (singly / jointly) 3 books and more than 40 papers in referred journals. He pioneered India-Japan initiative to nurture leaders for tough challenges of Asia. For the mission he has been working with leaders in India and Japan, and has presented extensively in East Asia (incl. plenary addresses in Kyoto and Seoul).
