The Institute has the most modern computational and laboratories facilities. It has a "Acer Competency Center". The Department has a fully equipped "Management Laboratory" which is equipped with in-house Camera, TV, VCR, Projection System besides PCs which are networked. The students have access to Internet and the Central Library, which contains a large section of management books as well as Department literary. The department is equipped with five specialized labs to help the students develop their skills and have hands on experience in various tools.

Management Applications Lab
A general - purpose lab providing computational facilities with software tools for IT enabled management decision making.
Acer Competency Center
A lab that acts as a showcase for leading edge technologies and academic work. It is a center for advanced business computing. Projects are in progress in the areas of development and upgradation of technology, testing and bench marking, consultancy and training.
BaaN Unit of Excellence in Enterprise Applications
This unit undertakes activities like research based projects, submission of content for BaaN multimedia productions, courses on enterprise resource planning and joint educational programmes. This unit also houses the enterprise applications lab.
Security Management Lab
This lab is engaged in the development of security system for NIC (National Information Center) and applications for the Government of India. It acts as a repository of literature and resources on computer network security and network management security.
Data Warehousing Lab
A specialised lab that integrates information and decision making technologies. The current emphasis is on developing and exploring data mining operations under the SAS environment and use it to build Executive Information System (EIS).
Client Server Computing
The department houses a fully functional application to the ORACLE 7.3 suite enabling students to understandand build database applications using the state of the art technology. This has an extensive collection of books and literature related to the management sciences and subscribes to various management periodicals and journals.

The research at the Department has received international acclaim including several publications in reputed journals.
