| The Post-Graduate Programme in Management at IIT Delhi has existed for over two decades and has carved a niche for itself. In response to the feedback from the students, alumni and industry, the Department of Management Studies, updated the following three programs: |

| MBA
(Full-Time) with Focus on Management Systems
(60 seats) |
With the unique
features of systems orientation and
a blend of creativity and analytical
problem-solving skills, MBA with focus
on "Management Systems"
is aimed to develop holistic managers
who internalize a synthesis of conventional
and modern management thinking and
who can comfortably adapt to changing
business requirements. |

| MBA (Full-Time) with Focus on Telecommunication Systems Management (15 seats) |
This programme is comprehensive in nature, involving all the business functions - Accounting, Finance, Operations, HR Management, Marketing, and Business Computing Science. The emphasis of Telecommunications Systems Management provides a strong foundation in Telecom System Management to become effective managers especially in the Telecom sector.
The programme draws Telecom technology inputs from Bharti School of Telecom Technology & Management (BSTTM) of IIT Delhi. Typical employers would be corporations, which provide telecom networks, telecom service providers, and telecom equipment vendors. |

| MBA (Part-Time) with Focus on Technology Management (60 seats) |
For the Indian industry to gain global competitiveness, effective management of technology is crucial. This would mean using technology as a strategic variable to gain competitive advantage and would require an organization to critically understand processes of technology planning and strategy, management of technology transfer and absorption, technology forecasting and assessment, technology acquisition and international negotiations, commercialization of new technology, technology implementation and adaptation, management of innovation and R&D, intellectual property rights, project management, entrepreneurship, and technology financing and marketing.
The part-time MBA programme with focus on "Technology Management" is aimed at fulfilling these requirements so as to enable the managers to effectively contribute in evolving core competencies in Indian industry.

| Eligibility |
| The candidates having the following qualifications are eligible to apply for admission to the MBA programme: |

Bachelor's
Degree in any branch of Engineering/
Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/
B.Sc. Agriculture Engineering (minimum
4 years after 10+2) |
 |
Master's degree in any branch of Physical/Chemical/Mathematical Sciences like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Application, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computational/Information Science, Agriculture or Master's Degree in Commerce/ Economics. |

Those appearing in the final year examination may also apply. However, the candidates must finish their final qualifying examination before the last date of registration, i.e. 31st July 2007 (exact date to be notified in admission letter). Minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or 6.75 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent in the above mentioned degree programmes essential for admission.
In the case of part-time students a minimum experience of two years (as on 1st August 2007) will be required in addition to the above requirements. There is a relaxation of 5% in marks or equivalent in CGPA for SC/ST candidates and as per Institute norms for PH category.
Those having applied to IIT Delhi MBA programmes on qualifying the JMET 2006 will be short listed and then invited for a group discussion and interview, which will be held at Delhi and Mumbai. |

Appearing
for Joint Management Entrance Test
is the first step in the process of
seeking admission to the Post-Graduate
Programmes in Management offered by
IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi,
IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras
and IIT Roorkee.
The IISc and participating IITs will
use the results of JMET to short list
candidates for the subsequent part
of the selection process(es). Applicants
should note that they have to apply
for and send separate application
forms to different IITs and IISc as
per their choices. Candidates are
advised to refer to the details provided
by each of the Institutes in this
website. An applicant can apply to
as many programmes as desired by him
/ her subject to fulfillment of eligibility
requirements |

for conducting all the activities
related to the admissions in this
prestigious institute. From designing
the admissions brochure, to handling
prospective students' queries
and other application related
processes, the committee ensures
the smooth functioning of the

the supervision of the faculty.
The student-elected class representative
is responsible for coordinating
the activities of this committee.
